Hilleshog is a well-known sugar beet seed brand established in 1907 in Landskrona, Sweden.

Hilleshog has a long tradition within sugar beet with roots back in the Swedish sugar industry.

In 2000 Hilleshog was acquired by Syngenta. In October 2017 the Danish seed company DLF took over the brand and the sugar beet activities and established a strategic business unit today named DLF Beet Seed.

DLF Beet Seed has 340 employees dedicated to sugar beet seed – with breeding and seed production sites in Denmark, Sweden, Italy, France and in the US.

The former Hilleshog site in Landskrona, is now the base for the R&D activities in DLF Beet Seed and is named DLF Beet Seed AB.

Today the Hilleshog brand is widely market to the sugar industry and beet growers as a high quality sugar beet seed brand.
